Summer movie uniform

I went to go see Bad Teacher last night with friends. Tonight I am going to Transformers. I know we see a lot of freaking movies. I wanted to share what usually wear to every single movie I go see.

I wear something like this virtually every time I go see a movie wth the hubs and friends because it is totally functional. Layers, but still cute and comphy. Here's to me wishing all of you find it fashionable!

I saved a baby, and look I like Kate Middleton

Check out my new shoes! I bought them at Nordies this weekend and I love them. Best part is they are TOMS so a new pair of shoes was donated to a child in need in Africa.

Well, really the best part is Kate Middleton has shoes just like these that she wears all the time and now I look even more like her... soon we wil be freinds I tell you!

I have been sick, sorry. I know you missed me.

The last few weeks I have not only been super busy getting my hair cut and buying new glasses, I have been super busy everywhere else in my life. On top of that I have been sick this week and super lame. Sorry I have been half assing my posts.

Here are a few things I would like to highlight from the last few weeks:

1. Yes, I did finish the Hunger Games trilogy.

2. Yes, It was amazing, and I did stay up very late at night reading the books.

3. No, Mr. A will not read them, even though I have told him how awesome they are. I also found out that Kelly's husband read the books, and liked them! Point me.

4. Yes, I do love it when Mr. A gets super wasted at our friend's 30th birthday. It made me feel all high and mighty. It was one of the few times in our entire relationship that he has been the drunk one. It was awesome. I will strive to make this happen more often.

5. Yes, I still want to buy a house.

6. No I have not yet bought a house and we will yet again be pushing that off. The good news is I kind of love our apartment and it is just fine for now. Point for not having to be responsible!

7. Yes, I will be giving you all lots of details on the mass amounts of shopping I have been doing in preparation for our Italy trip in September. I have already planned a Nordies trip this weekend for some shoe shopping.

8. No I have not stopped stalking Kate Middleton. In fact I found a whole blog dedicated to finding all the clothes she wears and telling me where to buy them.

9. No I will not tell you the name of said blog, because then you too could be like my best friend Kate Middleton.

10. No, I am not pregnant. Whenever I get sick these days everyone always thinks I am pregnant. Not happening people.

So that catches you up on the last few weeks. I went on a lovely date with Mr. A on my birthday. We had a great time and I was in bed by 9:15. It was the perfect way to ring in 28. This weekend I am planning a pub crawl with a bunch of my friends to celebrate me NOT being 30. WHAT WHAT!

Hope you all are doing well. I will be in touch soon!

It's my birthday!

Even more hotness round here!

I got a fabulous haircut last night! I actually only trimmed like a half an inch off. I did change my hair color quite a bit and got BANGS! I have had bangs a while back but I grew them out for my wedding.

I was ready for a change. But obviously could not cut my hair off because I am not over thinking I could look like Kate Middleton! We did "ombre" highlights all over, and I love them! Its a great summer look! What do you think?

Here is a little before and after action:

What's new with me?

I got glasses! Check me out! I bought them this weekend and I am so far very pleased wth them!

I think they are very stylish. They are purple, I know, I am so hip and quirky! (Not really at all)

Hope you like!

Stiamo Andando Verso l'Italia

We are … Going to Italy! Like everyone else in the blog world it seems! Seriously though, we are super excited. Mr. A and I both love to travel and we have yet to take a big international trip together. Our honeymoon was great but was a bit of a “bust” as far as our expectations goes. So we are looking forward to our big trip for our first anniversary. We are considering it our second honeymoon and there for I can totally justify spending too much on clothing again! Whoot whoot!

A little history for you all about why we choose Italy. I actually lived in Rome for a semester in college. This is actually where I met my great friend Kate, who I just visited in Philly. I feel as though I know Rome pretty well and originally really pushed to spend like no time in Rome. But Mr. A has never been there (he lived in Germany for years and has only been to northern Italy) so I gave in and we are now going to spend 4 days in the eternal city. Then we are heading to Sorrento for four days. We will use this location as a base camp for day trips and wine tastings in the southern regions of Italy. Neither of us has been to this part of the country and we are really looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. We have planned a trip to Carpi and to Pompeii (I have already been there, but again, Mr. A wanted to see it and who am I to object some good porn frescos). We are then heading for three glorious days to Positano! Positano is the one place in Italy I have always wanted to go to. Ever since falling in love with the movie “Only You” in the 90’s I have dreamed of going there and running down the steps in a fabulous dress. This will make my dreams come true, I just need to find the right dress.
One of my favorites. Totally go watch it if you can. Source
We have actually already reserved our hotel for Positano because that place books up like a year in advance. Hotel rooms costs a freaking fortune, so we decided to really let loose in Positano and go for a bad ass hotel room, since we were already going to spend a lot anyway. We are staying at Hotel Marincanto. It’s ranked one of the best on Trip Advisor and came recommended by some friends who have already stayed there. We have sprung for the suite with the hot tub on the balcony and views of the whole city.

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this part of the trip. We plan on doing nothing for three whole days. Anytime I am having a rough day I just go to the hotel’s website and dream of wearing a huge sun hat and laying on my balcony drinking wine and reading my book. It is going to be legendary.

The whole trip is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to plan every detail and then get there and enjoy all that Italy has to offer. All of you who have been posting about your recent trips have just gotten me more and more excited about our trip. The food. The wine. The romance. UGH it is going to be perfect!

I could have thown a saddle on this bitch

Check out the huge ass roach that walked passed me this morning like nbd. I had a heart attack and then ran away...

The fear of knowing that thing was still alive in my house then
over ran any other emotion and I pounced. I smaked that thing with Mr. A's shoe about 5 times whilst screaming. Then promptly took the attached picture.

Btw, while taking the picture it started to move again so I freaked out and killed it AGAIN! Then covered that shit up with a shoe and left Harry and Mr.A to deal. I am horrible.
